Keanu Reeves Reacts to the Label ‘Internet’s Boyfriend’

People online have very rightly labeled Keanu Reeves as the ‘Internet’s boyfriend.’ The Canadian actor has been hailed by most as one of the most loved and lovable celebs from the ’90s. He recently expressed his gratitude, saying he has ‘no problem’ with the label. “I really appreciate the goodwill,” he said. While some might see the fans’ clicks of the Matrix actor as an invasion, he has no such problem with it. He is often seen offering his seat to his co-passenger on a train and eating a sandwich in the pictures put up online by his fans.

Waiting to catch a glimpse of the actor or a chance to meet him, Reeves’ fans come in throngs to any event he is invited to. Recently, during an advanced screening of his upcoming movie at the 2023 South By Southwest (SXSW) film festival, Reeves, along with the director Chad Stahelsk, were given standing ovations which led to the director saying that this was one of the best audiences of all time. During the Q&A session, the actor told the audience that he had kept the wedding ring and Wick’s watch from the earlier movies. This was met with a yell by an audience member saying, “I’ll marry you!” to which the action star replied: “Yeah, be careful what you wish for.”

Set to release on March 23rd, Reeves’ upcoming movie has been receiving praise ever since the advanced screening getting 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. It has also been called one of the greatest action films of this generation and perhaps of all time.The action sequences in the fourth installment of the John Wick franchise were appreciated by critics, who said that the latest chapter gets it to a higher level. The movie was also deemed slicker and funnier than the previous installments.
