Sometimes, pets get themselves into impossible-looking positions and just decide to stay there. This pup started off on the couch and then walked themselves off, leaving two legs sticking out behind, and two legs solidly on the ground.

After waiting there for a couple of moments, this flexible pooch slowly slid off the couch. From this angle, it also looks like this dog has rested her head on the wooden coffee table. What a master of movement!

Dogs are creatures of habit. They wake up at the same time every morning, they eat their meals at the same times each day, and they go for walks each evening. Structure and routine make dogs feel satisfied and comfortable, and it will soon seem like they’ve got their schedule memorized to a tee.

And often, that’s because they do. This adorable dog must have spent several years going in and out of a door. Much to his surprise, after home renovations, the door is gone.

It’s always fun to present a dog with a new toy. Being enthusiastic creatures, dogs tend to get excited over most things. Because of this, it’s pretty uplifting to see how they’ll react to new textures, noises, and shapes. When this dog was given a plushie dinosaur toy, he snatched it up immediately.

So far we’ve looked exclusively at dogs, but let’s not forget about their four-legged counterparts — cats. While some people wrongly think that cats are offish, boring, or cruel, they’re actually hilarious, affectionate, and full of personality.

Just take this dramatic feline as an example. When this kitty’s owner shooed him off their lap, he rested his furry face on the nearest pillow instead. While it looks like this cat is throwing a fit, we know he’s just keen to get back to sleep.

Dogs are goofy creatures, even if they look a little fierce sometimes. Even dogs that are trained for security or military purposes are sweethearts deep down, and all dogs love to run around and have fun. While playing fetch or running after a ball is great, some pups need to mix things up a little.

Comic strip character Snoopy is often associated with his doghouse, where he’s often seen sleeping on the roof. Interestingly, in earlier versions of the comic strip, Snoopy slept inside his house, but in 1958 he ventured to the roof for the first time.

After a while, sleeping on the roof became Snoopy’s norm. In a 1963 strip, Linus suggests that Snoopy sleep inside and everyone thinks it’s a ridiculous idea. Perhaps this pup uses her ears to lock onto the house just like the cartoon dog.

When dogs go for walks, it’s not just about stretching their legs. With super strong senses of smells, dogs experience everything in a much different way than humans do. With each new step is a trial of scents, and that’s not even mentioning the multiple noises, passing dogs, and new humans.

For a dog, going for a walk is an adventure, and every little thing they come across or see is exciting. For that reason, it’s no wonder this dog gives their owner puppy dog eyes when they need to go outside.

When you’re around the same height as a trunk, couch, or table, it just makes sense to rest your head on top of one when you see it. This dog must have been tired because it decided to use a wooden trunk as a pillow rather than the dog bed itself.

Perhaps this dog isn’t happy that its bed is covered in toys. If only some human would come and clear things up, then this pup could really get snoozing.

For years, humans have mistakenly thought that the circular holes inside cars are for holding cups. Foolishly, humans have been putting receptacles of boiling liquid into these holes, and trying to drink from them while driving. Obviously, this is a major safety issue.

As we’ve learned from this image, these circular car holes are actually for dog’s paws. With one paw in each hole, pups can cruise along as if they’re doing the driving.

Life isn’t easy for long-haired dogs, especially when they live in warm climates. Long hair requires all sorts of grooming and brushing, never mind the vigorous shampooing sessions. Of course, it’s all worth it, because long-haired dogs often look like superstars.

This adorable pup was out and about in Korea on a hot day and had to take a break by the fridge. Lying on the cold tiled floor, this dog was hoping to just get a minute to themselves.

When you order your dog from the dog site, they come flat packed with a thick manual of instructions. As this post points out, failing to follow the instructions can lead to really weird looking dogs. With legs sticking in all directions and tails coming out of nowhere, a badly put together dog will not be pretty.

Just kidding. We know that dogs don’t come in flat-pack boxes. We also know that some dogs like to flail their limbs in all directions. Strike a pose!

Ordinarily, dogs sit by resting on their back legs, and placing their front legs on the ground. This is the standard “sit” position taught to all dogs from an early age. It’s strange then, that some dogs prefer to sit like humans.

It’s a truth universally acknowledged that cats are big fans of cardboard boxes. In fact, when presented with the option between an expensive high-tech new toy and a cardboard box, a cat will almost always pick the box. Actually, it will always pick the box.

For this reason, many cat owners enjoy making cardboard box houses for their kitties. Naturally, these houses are subject to being bitten, chewed, and scratched to shreds. Hooray for cats!

As well as being totally adorable and full of mischief, cats are also liquid. That’s right, you read that correctly — cats are liquid. What we mean is that cats can slink into all sorts of shapes, and squish themselves into impossible tiny spaces.

The orange cat in this picture has managed to tuck themselves away into a cozy cardboard box, but it was about to get even cozier. Cat number two entered the picture, calmly crushed their sibling, and posed angelically.

This poor pup is in a position that makes it look absolutely terrified. While many dogs sleep curled up in a circle, lying on their side, or flopped on their back, this black pooch looks like he’s rocking back and forth after seeing a ghost.

Perhaps the spirit of another household pet appeared before this dog and told it to watch its back. Somebody needs to give this poor creature a calming lavender chew toy, stat.

Did you know that pug dogs can be traced all the way back to ancient China? In fact, the flat-faced toy dogs were favored by Chinese Emperors, and were pets to members of the imperial court.

The small but muscly dogs are popular all over the world now, and feature in any number of internet memes and GIFs. This person’s fat little pug looks just like a potato. In the parlance of Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off,” “Potatoes gonna potate.”

Excitingly, this is our first funny pet picture that includes both a dog and a cat. And let’s be honest — the only thing better than animal pictures are animal pictures featuring more than one species of animal. It’s double the cuteness!

In this hilarious snap, someone’s dog and cat look like they’re squished together to pose for a family photo. With his eager eyes, the dog is the older brother, and with her anguished expression, the cat is the younger sister.

One of the many wonderful things about having pets is catching them making strange-looking expressions. This might happen in person, from a particular angle, or when captured on camera. This dog’s strange expression makes him look almost like a person.

Those eyes are definitely saying, “Hello, I’ll take one of the snacks please.” Sadly for dogs, they aren’t humans, so we don’t just give them snacks when they give us funny faces. Rather, we take out our phones and photograph them.

Hooray! Next up is a more unusual pet, and a departure from the dogs and cats we’ve seen so far. Many people become very bonded with their pet birds, and enjoy their intelligence and goofiness. This is a pet budgerigar, usually referred to as a budgie or parakeet.

Budgies are a kind of long-tailed parrot, and are actually the third most popular pet in the world, after cats and dogs. These cute birds can mimic human speech, making them extra exciting to have around the house.

Gorgeous goats are reared and kept all over the world, usually for their fur, meat, and milk. In total, there are over 300 different breeds of goats, and a whopping 924 million goats living in the world. Now, that’s a lot of goat.

This person managed to snap a picture of their goat looking up at them lovingly, complete with exposed goat gap teeth. Have you ever noticed that goats have rectangular pupils? It’s because they need to have a long line of peripheral vision.

Cats are pretty fussy creatures. If their litter tray isn’t clean, they won’t use it. And, if their water is stale, they won’t drink it. If a cat’s water bowl has any type of debris or hair floating in it, chances are the cat won’t go anywhere near it.

Because they prefer fresh water, many cats like to stick their heads under the faucet and drink directly from there. This cat was trying to do that but wedged her head underneath the fixture instead.

While cats are more restrained with their emotions, dogs don’t hold anything back at all. Dogs are at their happiest when they’re bounding, rolling, cavorting, and leaping. And if a dog likes something, you bet you’ll know about it.

This dog got their paws on their favorite ball, and lay in the grass holding it aloft. Full of love and adoration, this delighted doggo gazed at their ball, too beside themselves to even play with it. Now, that’s true love.

We already know that dogs are dozy creatures, and here’s yet more proof. This long-snouted good pup decided to stick their nose out of the window, but forgot to include the rest of their head. Either that, or they’re involved in a pretty intense game of hide-and-seek.

We like to imagine that this dog is trying to keep out of sight because it’s being hunted by a boisterous Chihuahua. If it stays extra still, surely no one will ever find it.

Miraculously, we’re around halfway through our list of funny pets and we haven’t used the word “derp” yet. This caption correctly identifies this dog in a tote bag as a derp. With its protruding pink tongue and expressionless face, this pup looks completely ridiculous, by any standards.

The actual word “derp” first came from an episode of South Park, but it’s now used to describe goofy facial expressions, especially on animals. Broadly, it means to be stupid or foolish.

It can be really tough for dogs to sit politely when their human family is enjoying a meal. They know they aren’t allowed to jump up, and they know none of the food is for them, but still, they must sit there and smell everything. They have to watch as each human munches away on the delicious feast.

This dog’s expression is full of longing and desire. With its nose literally pressed against the table, it’s desperately hoping for someone — anyone — to accidentally drop something.

And so suddenly we’re faced with two more dopey little derp faces. These two flat-faced doggos have the exact kind of blank, cartoon-like face that’s described as “derpy,” and they even have crooked little front teeth. We can’t cope with them!

As far as we can tell, these two dogs aren’t even putting on a strange expression. It genuinely looks like these pups just have absurd little faces, and walk around looking perplexed 24/7.

Ah, the graceful cat — a majestic beast that flounces from place to place with nary an issue. Well, that’s the case for most cats. This confused-looking fellow looks like he’s just woken up from a very intense dream where he was manically cycling a bicycle down a hill. Yes, we know that cats can’t ride bicycles, but just go with it.

This cat has its paws on display and its eyes stretched wide. To make it even better, its tail is folded along its front.

What we have here is a derpy dog face that’s also being thrown into amusing shapes by the weather. This pup is absolutely delighted to be bounding across the grass, and its mouth is hanging open in complete joy.

To fully round out this scene, we’d like you to imagine loads of falling confetti behind this pup, with the Kool & and The Gang song — “Celebrate” — playing in the background. If this was this dog’s last day on Earth, we’re pretty sure it would die happy.

When looking at this next image, do you see a pup or a puppet? As this person rightly points out, their dog has a cute and fluffy face that almost makes it look like it’s not real. Thankfully it is, because we’d pick a pooch over a puppet any day.

We’d love if this dog’s human could teach it a bunch of sophisticated tricks so that it looks like it actually is a puppet. From our perspective, that’s a very good use of time.

Here we are with the first bunny of the list. Many people now keep their buns inside and let them hop around the house free-range. This bun must have gotten a little overheated because it found itself a vent that it could cool down beside.

With its ears flopped and its paws by its side, this adorable bunny lies snoozing with its tongue sticking out. When it comes to the cutest things we’ve ever seen, this definitely makes the top 10.

From the looks of things, this dog has also been poorly assembled from a flat-pack box. Either that, or this dog is a really advanced practitioner of canine yoga. While humans are stretching their limbs into cat’s pose or child’s pose, this dog is getting right in there and just tucking its parts wherever it can.

We don’t know about you, but we’d definitely tune in each week to watch a dog teach us yoga. Bring on the dog-a! Get it?

It’s not just dogs that like to contort themselves into strange positions. This cat has managed to nail a pretty great chicken impressive, though it’s mainly focused on the leg area. With their striped orange and white fur, and stretched out toes, this playful kitty’s legs really do look like they belong on a farmyard bird.

Now, this cat just has to nail the rest of the impression, and it can go out there and masquerade as a hen.

We agree that this doesn’t look like the most comfortable position, but it seems to be working for this doggo. However, his facial expression looks a bit scared. We wonder if a quick belly rub or scratch behind the ears would help this pup have a more peaceful nap.

While someone might look at this image and see the bared teeth of a once wild animal, we just see a playful pupper that’s about to get its human soaked in water.

Sadly for this feathered friend, chickens can’t compress their bodies the same way cats and some other animals can. This ambitious bird will have to work on its cat impression for a little longer.

Cat owners often worry that there’s something wrong with their pet because they sleep all day. Cats do sleep up to 16 hours a day and have no issues falling asleep in all sorts of random places.

Tired kitties might rest their eyes while leaning on someone’s hand, or they could even take a nap in their food bowl like this one. Apparently, it’s best to get pet cats into a routine where they eat, play, sleep and groom in a set order.

We highly doubt that this dog is actually scared for the sake of his plush toy buddy who is getting cleaned in the laundry machine. But let’s just pretend that this is what’s going on for a minute.

Toby is terrified that his best friend is trapped. He keeps going round in circles and seems to be drowning in a whirlpool full of water and bubbles. This explains the look of sheer terror on his face.

If you have seen the ’90s blockbuster Titanic, you are bound to get the reference that this person used in the following Snapchat message. Of course, they are alluding to that defining moment when Jack and Rose are hanging onto the raft.

On the other hand, maybe the cat is actually called Rose and her owner is simply telling her to never let go. At any rate, she looks like she’s terrified of the long drop below.

Cats are fairly picky when it comes to food, unlike their canine counterparts. With that said though, our furry friends have a tendency to try and wrap their teeth around virtually anything they can get their claws on. Take this cat, for example.

This white ball of fur thought they would try their luck against this cactus that was lying around the home. This photo was taken at the defining moment when some of the pricks drove into the cat’s gums. Ouch!

Here is another classic incident where someone’s pet was doing something that simply made them chuckle. Let’s face it, animals aren’t so clued up when a surface has been recently painted. They can’t read signs like this one.

As a result, this cat just lay down on the pillar like they usually would. Little did they realize though that it has recently been covered in a new coat of white paint. At least their belly is already white.

So many of our favorite pets will try and stick their noses into the tightest of holes, simply to see if there is maybe some food at the end of the tunnel. That’s exactly what this ferret tried to do. It was too late though before they realized that it was a pretty small tunnel.

As a matter of fact, it was simply a toilet paper roll and as you can see, they had a tough time trying to get out.

Hey, even pets deserve to receive some presents when Christmas comes around. The owner of these wolves was keen to treat them during the festive season and even wrapped their gifts with some classic Christmas-themed wrapping paper.

As you can see, the wolves had no problem opening up their presents. We want to know what is in the boxes though… Maybe it’s a couple of steaks? Or maybe it’s some canine toys that they’ll be able to sink their teeth into.

Truth be told, the smaller the object is, the more likely a cat will try to play with it. Whether or not this tabby was interested in eating this tiny reptile, it seems like they were planning on playing with it, one way or another.

But you can imagine how surprised they were when the little lizard chomped on its nose and refused to let go. This is one of those scenarios where we wonder what happened next.

Heck, even birds get stuck every once in a while. It’s not just mammals and reptiles that stick their heads where they don’t belong and need some human assistance to set them free. This beautiful little bird seemed to get stuck in a toilet roll.

It looks though like he isn’t too uncomfortable. This is largely in part to the cushiony toilet paper surrounding the roll. We are sure that he’ll be flying out of there in no time.

Sometimes, it’s not that the hole an animal is trapped in is too small, it’s the fact that the animal is simply too chubby to fit in! It looks like this hamster bit off more than he could chew.

In what appears to be some kind of food tray, the hamster was distracted by the hole and thought that maybe this was where the rest of his food was. We just hope that he wasn’t too distressed while crying for his owner.

Don’t you just love it when the perfect photo is taken and it wasn’t even intentional? That is exactly what happened when this dog was playing around on a dock somewhere.

It almost looks as if the pooch was reenacting the classic scene from the movie Free Willy, which is clearly what the sculpture in the background is a reference to. Not only is he doing the same movement as the whale, but he has the same colors.

This little kitty would make a great assistant for the practitioner of dog yoga we’ve met already. Considering yoga already has a pose called “cat pose,” it should be no surprise that furry felines like to stick their legs in lots of different directions.

Cats normally throw their legs around when they’re grooming themselves. This tabby cat likes to chew on his own ankles, munching away at the area just above his white socks. You do you, Oliver!

Just look at the absurd face of this little dog. With its neck cranked up like this, this picture looks just like a grinning selfie of a human. Did you know that many dog experts and vets now recommend brushing your dog’s teeth?

It might sound weird, but it helps avoid a range of illnesses and conditions that might cause your pup pain or irritation. To clean dog teeth, you can use a special canine toothbrush, or treat puppers to a tooth-cleaning chew toy.

At first glance, this picture of a very happy dog looks just like a snap of a polar bear. With its big black nose, wide grin, and closed eyes, this canine could double as a bear any day. This very happy boy was excited to be on a boat ride.

Think about it — so much water, so many smells, and the opportunity to see some other animals. Dogs make particularly good pets because they can be taken almost anywhere.

When a dog lies on its stomach with its back legs lying behind them rather than tucked underneath them, that’s referred to as “splooting.” This smiley little pup is having a great time splooting in the grass, and isn’t afraid to show it.

Some dogs are more likely to sploot than others, especially if they have smaller or more flexible legs. For some dogs (and cats), splooting gives an all-over body stretch, and for others, it cools down their body temperature.

We hope we never see any surprise spiders like these!

There’s nothing worse than a spider somewhere that you need to be. Of course, a spider on the ceiling is scary but a spider hiding out on a door handle or on a laptop would cause quite a fright.

This spider decided that he wanted to try on a new hat as a chef. The only problem was that the people in this kitchen didn’t really want him around. Even further, they especially didn’t want him setting up camp on their microwave, an appliance that most people use fairly frequently.

There are certain situations in which you see a spider that you can simply grab a shoe or cup to catch it and take it outside. Other times, you might have a bigger problem than just a single stray spider.

The people who live in this house definitely have a bigger problem on their hands than a lone arachnid. Instead, it seems like they might need to rid their whole kitchen of a near-uncountable number of spiders. We probably wouldn’t make any home-cooked meals until that process was done either.

Many people make their coffee half-awake in the morning. After all, it’s the thing that’s supposed to help give you an extra boost when you’re trying to follow your alarm.

So, it can’t be helped that sometimes you might miss something in making your morning coffee. This person just happened to miss a large, upsetting thing about their coffee, for a time, at least. After they’d finished a good portion of their coffee, this spider-fueled nightmare revealed itself.

There’s nothing more refreshing than a sip of the drink you ordered with your meal. Before you dive right in, though, you might want to take a second look at that straw.

This spider would be almost tragically easy to miss, leading to what would likely be a terrifying moment – if they realized at all. Nestled right in the straw, there’s no way to avoid this eight-legged little spider when you grab a drink from this cup.

As we just said, there are times that spiders stay away and still seem scary. The only downside to this is that they don’t always stay away as you would hope.

This person went through one of the worst spider-related experiences we can imagine. That tickle they couldn’t get rid of in their ear wasn’t only persistent but alive! When someone shined a flashlight in their ear to snap a quick picture, a spider peeked out for their moment on camera.

We have to hope that someone happened to just see this. Otherwise, it’s a pretty horrifying thought to think someone might have almost put on this glove of spiders.

It looks like this glove used to have one spider but all it took was some spider eggs to create this horrifying image. Once they hatched, they all spread out in the glove as they started to emerge. The result was this arachnophobic nightmare that we won’t forget anytime soon.

If there’s one place that you really don’t want to see a spider, it’s right over your head. Everyone has been spooked by a spider in the shower, after all.

This person is going through a little bit more than a tiny shower spider, even if they don’t know it yet. Not only is this spider uncomfortably positioned right over their head but it’s a pretty big spider too! It leaves the hairs on the back of your neck standing up, hoping that the spider doesn’t fall.

Needless to say, most people wouldn’t want to see a spider on something they’re holding in their hands. After all, most people don’t really want to be around spiders at all.

On the other hand, their presence is sometimes so perfectly placed it works. Not to mention, given that this book is titled This Book is Full of Spiders, it’s not like the reader didn’t have fair warning! At least this was just a small spider that came to visit.

The unfortunate truth is that no matter how hard we try, sometimes spiders get into places we don’t want them in. Those places can even haunt our nightmares and cause companies to reconsider a few things.

In this situation, all it took was one spider in the worst place imaginable: a cookie someone was about to bite into! Before they did, they noticed something upsetting baked into the cookie they were about to enjoy. A spider had fallen in at some point and met a vanilla-wafer-flavored doom.

Getting ready in the morning can be stressful. It’s hard to make sure you get everything done in a timely manner. No one really needs spiders added to this part of the day.

Still, spiders aren’t arachnids that need an invitation. Plus, as we’ve learned, they tend to show up where you want them the least. This person had already picked out the perfect outfit for the day when a large spider took up home there. Time to find a new look!

It’s startling to suddenly see a spider somewhere you don’t want them. On the other hand, spiders that have mastered the art of camouflage are spooky in their own right.

Looking at this picture, can you spot the spider right away? He’s cleverly disguised and looks almost like just another spine on this cactus. The only good news here is that since this is a sharp cactus, there was probably no risk of directly grabbing this eight-legged visitor.

You never want a spider to be close to something you might grab without looking. After all, no one really wants to pull their hand away only to see a spider tagging along.

As for this spider, it found its home next to the zipper on this coat. Luckily, it doesn’t look like this coat has been in regular use. Hopefully, this means that this spider wasn’t discovered after someone was already wearing the coat!

Taking apart an electronic is a great way for someone experienced to see what could be going wrong with their electronics. Rarely would you expect that problem to have anything to do with spiders.

While it looks like this board hasn’t been touched in a while, it’s collecting more than just cobwebs. On top of that, there isn’t even a single spider! In total, this person could contend with a couple of spiders or wisely put the cover back in place and call it a day.

As funny as it may seem to some, many people have a few favorite glasses in their cupboards. If you do, what would be the limit that made you finally toss it out?

If your answer was spiders, the person who took this picture can relate. They left a glass out for a while and eventually, someone rented the space. The question is, do you throw this glass out completely or do you just let the spider keep it? We’d probably skip out on reclaiming it ourselves.

The bad news is that this is a pretty awful point of view. There aren’t many people who actually want to see a spider this up close and personal.

On the bright side, the good news is that this spider isn’t physically in the room with the person who snapped this picture. Still, on the lens of the camera, we have to imagine that a wayward glance at the TV would make you jump.

Everybody knows that your dental health is important. Almost everyone has been asked by a dentist whether they floss and brush their teeth regularly.

There are times that you forget or you skip a step, though. Since you brush your teeth in the early morning and late evening, it’s easy to do it without paying much attention. That is until you see this photo. A spider nestled in the bristles of a toothbrush would make anyone’s skin crawl.

If you see something outside of your door in the car, you’re usually safe. After all, a spider isn’t going to phase through the glass to get into your car.

Yet, if you have something balanced right on the spot where the door opens, there’s a risk of it falling in the car. Small spiders wouldn’t be a problem since they probably wouldn’t stretch across that space. A spider this big might keep you in the car for a while.

Camping is a great choice if you want an experience that will put you in touch with nature. Sometimes, you might find yourself so in-touch with nature that you might miss the comforts of home.

We would surely think about returning to the safety of our beds if we looked over in a tent on a camping trip and saw this spider. While it’s good that it’s on the outside of the tent, it’s still unsettling to see so close to you. The size of this spider doesn’t help our fears at all either!

Just like any other creature you might find in the wild, spiders have natural camouflage to keep them safe from predators. The fact that they’re often very small helps too!

This spider found the perfect place to move in when they were in this person’s garden. Where this plant indented, the spider slipped into the crevice. While this spider is spooky if you aren’t a fan, we’re impressed this person managed to notice them.

It’s bad enough to see one spider hanging around where you don’t want it. Several spiders are only scarier, by nature, so it’s usually a situation to avoid.

Heading out to the car one morning, the first thing someone would notice is the big spider. If you were brave enough to come any closer, you’d notice that this is a family outing. We just hope that these spiders were only on the outside of the car.

We’re not sure exactly how this person noticed this spider. If you can’t tell, this spider is building its home on the green light on a traffic light.

No matter how they noticed, they snapped an interesting picture of one of these creepy crawlies. The best thing about this spider is that traffic lights are high in the air and you’re only close to them in a car. Still, though, the backlight from beneath this spider is unsettling.

Your bed is supposed to be a safe space. After all, it’s where you rest your head at night and where you lounge about when you need some time to relax.

While this might be a general rule, spiders don’t often care about the rules that humans set. As a result, this spider couldn’t help but take the chance to try out this soft landscape. Sadly, that probably wasn’t as relaxing for the bed’s owner.

It’s hard to see exactly where this spider is. However, we’re sorry to point out that those dark parts of the photo aren’t just the top of a ceiling fan.

The bad news is that that’s actually the spider and it’s just as massive as it seems. Even worse, it’s easy to believe that a larger spider would have a harder time hiding but this spider clearly has no trouble at all. Maybe it’s time to just replace the whole house.

We’ve seen a few unsettling masters of camouflage on this list. However, this spider takes the cake on what it means to blend in with your surroundings.

This slender spider makes itself so narrow that it looks like a stick. Even if you saw it and noticed it was a bug, you probably wouldn’t even think it was a spider. While it’s impressive that this spider is so good at its job, it does make it all the creepier.

While we don’t always think about it, there are places that we touch frequently that we might not think about. Have you ever reach under a chair scooting into a seat or touched your leg on a table bottom?

If you reach under this table, you might get a nasty surprise. No one disturbed the beneath of this table for a while, so this big spider decided it was a great place to call home. It would definitely liven up dinner!

Most spiders are relatively harmless. On the other hand, that doesn’t mean that they still don’t scare many people who would rather avoid them at all costs.

Spiders don’t even have to necessarily act too spooky to scare someone. Sitting there is enough! That doesn’t mean there aren’t spiders who aren’t willing to go above and beyond to send a chill up your spine. How about catching and eating another spider right in your home?

Having a service take care of your windows is a great way to save time and effort on your chores. It’s always a good idea to make sure your window washer isn’t a spider, though.

When this person looked out their window, they definitely didn’t see a window washer helping with household errands. Instead, they saw a massive spider sitting on the window. It was so large that they were caught off-guard – as we would be too!

If there’s really one place you might not look at before you sit down, it’s in the bathroom. There are even all sorts of spooky things you’d never want to see there.

This includes something like a spider in the bowl below. We’d be especially freaked out if the spider was as big as this one! Not to mention, given that it’s right under the edge of the seat like that, this spider is definitely too close for comfort.

There are times that you just have to know when to admit defeat. Sometimes you see a spider that has simply bested you and you should leave them to their spoils.

At least, that’d be the approach we’d take with this spider. While you could probably earn this drawer back eventually, it seems like a lot of risk to tangle with this spider. It’s probably best to agree that this spider is renting out this drawer now, free of charge.

There’s nothing better to relax after a long day like a nice cup of herbal tea. After all, it’s free of caffeine and aside from the benefits of particular different teas, it’s a nice warm drink to relax into.

It looks like this tea relaxed more than just the person preparing it. It seemed so inviting that a spider had to jump in on the deal too. In the tea alone, this spider would probably stick out more but it blends in almost perfectly with the tea bag.

We’ve looked at a lot of spiders that are creepy because of where they are. Yet, we have to admit that there are some spiders that would be unsettling almost anywhere!

This spider definitely counts. The most upsetting thing about where it is actually is that it’s inside this person’s house at all! In addition, there’s just something unsettling about a spider this big, even if it ends up being relatively harmless. All in all, the only solution to this problem might be to start fresh somewhere new.

If you’ve never worked in a grocery store, you might not be familiar with the fact that spiders love to hide in bananas. Shipments of bananas often come with a side of spiders.

That’s why this person found a startling surprise when they grabbed this bag of bananas. They didn’t catch sight of a small house spider either. This spider is large enough to not want to tangle with and it can only get out once you open the bag.

For many, the days of using ethernet cables to connect to the internet is behind them. Still, they show up in a lot of homes even if the owners don’t use them nearly as much.

This spider saw the chance for a free connection and took it, though. It crawled right into the port for the adapter and made its place there. While it’s not necessarily in the way, we probably wouldn’t want to see spider legs poking out of a hole in the wall either.

There are some things in your car that you might not notice right away. For example, not everyone would think to flip down their visor to check for spiders before getting in.

While this person seems to have had their visor down already, it didn’t help the fact that this spider had gotten into the car in the first place. We just hope that this person noticed before they sat down and saw this spider at eye-level.

There are certain places that you don’t expect to see spiders because you probably assume that they can’t get in. Yet, seeing the world from such a tiny perspective makes it easier to find small spaces to slip into.

Seeing a sight like this would lead to a myriad of different emotions. For one, seeing it at a glance would definitely startle you. Upon closer inspection, however, it’s clear that this spider is definitely inside the display, not simply resting on its surface. This poses an important question: how could you get it out?

By now, we’ve seen quite a few spiders who decided that fruit was a great place for their new home. The downside to this is that this means that spiders sometimes catch a ride home on unsuspecting people’s produce.

As for this person, they had a fairly dangerous encounter when all they really wanted was a snack! They posted this picture of a black widow spider they found in the grapes they had just bought from Walmart.

For some people, a spider on the door isn’t a big deal at all. They’ll easily knock the spider aside or simply open the door and ignore the spider’s presence.

If you’re frightened when a spider makes its way between you and the exit, this photo will make your skin crawl. This spider was just waiting on the inside of the bathroom door to scare the next person who closed it behind them. Once you see the spider, what do you do? Is it better to just flee or try to remove the spider from the door for good?

As we’ve discussed already, spiders can get in and out of spaces that we may not even realize are accessible to them at first glance. However, there are some spaces that are completely sealed.

This includes the inside of that snow globe that you bought as a vacation souvenir. Even further, the snow globes are usually filled with liquid and glitter to create the effect of snowing. What you probably don’t expect to see in your snow globe is the much less peaceful sight of a spider.

This is another example of a spider that’s mostly creepy because it’s just too good at what it does. While camouflage is necessary in the wild, it can be scary when it means a spider sneaks in close.

You can’t get much closer to someone than chilling out on their half-eaten grape either. Plus, this little guy is more than just well-camouflaged – he matches the green of those grapes perfectly! You’d have to be paying close attention or catch him on the move to spot him.

Once you leave your home, it makes sense that you would start to see more spiders. After all, many types tend to live outside, so they’re bound to wander around in your yard or garden.

Not to mention, there are a number of different hiding places for a spider outside, making them hard to spot right away. Still, like any other creature, they have to come out from time to time. That’s when this spider was caught emerging from beneath this leaf.

It seems like the problem of poisonous spiders in grapes isn’t all that uncommon. Well, it’s happened more than once, at the very least.

Much like the last picture we looked at, this person picked up some grapes only to realize there was a particularly scary passenger in the bag. This black widow spider would have definitely made sure that anyone who wanted these grapes bit off more than they could chew.

At the end of the day, while they spook us and send us shrieking away sometimes, spiders are important. As such, it’s nice to see that some people can handle would send many of us packing.

This post is a great example of someone finding endearing a few photos that most people react to with fear. While we’re glad that they appreciate the spiders, though, we’re still not sure we’re ready to see them up close and personal like this. Given that this spider is prone to jumping, that’s even worse!

Once you get in the car, bugs crawling on the windows can offer an unsettling perspective. It’s bad enough when it’s a small insect or spider.

After this person got in the car, they happened to turn their flashlight on to see a horrifying sight. We have to point out that this photo isn’t zoomed in very far either. The spider on the window is really that big. We have to say, we’d probably just camp out in the car for a while.

Adding fruits and vegetables to your daily routine is a healthy choice. Just remember, you should make sure to wash and check your fresh foods before eating.

Otherwise, you might find yourself missing something upsetting. It’s good to see that this person paid close attention while they were peeling this orange. On the other hand, a spider this big spoiling your fruit snack would definitely be hard to miss. Either way, we’d probably opt for a different snack later in its place.

There are a lot of reasons that someone might call in sick. For instance, you might need to nurse the flu, take care of a sick child, or maybe even just enjoy an extra day off.

This person had a terrifying reason to call in sick to work. They weren’t sick themselves but they were ready to go until they ran into someone unexpected. Obviously, this spider has a monopoly on this computer so it’s probably a better idea to move on.
