Having to social distance and self-isolate for an extended period of time can come with a few drawbacks. While boredom is set to strike and cabin fever can play a role in that, sooner or later, you will also notice that your hair is starting to get a bit unmanageable. That’s when the shaved head trend starts to kick in.
A Shaved Head Can Be Better
There are many guys who prefer to go to the barbershop about once a month for a shape-up or a fade. If you’re one of these guys, then you’ve probably reached a point during social distancing where you had to decide whether to continue growing out your hair or experiment with the shaved head look.
Celebrities That Did it in 2020
Celebrities left and right have opted for the shaved or buzz-cut look while stuck at home social distancing. Here are some who did it.
We’ve seen David Beckham with a shaved head before, but not recently. The former soccer star has had many different hairstyles in the past and most recently, he has been spotted with longer locks. However, social distancing happened and it made him shave it.
While Cody Simpson has typically had longer hair over the years, he recently asked his girlfriend, Miley Cyrus, to help with the trim.
The actor and rapper also decided to go for a more shaved look. He has made appearances in Girls, The Night Of, and Rogue One. Now, he has shown the world his freshly cut hair. In his Instagram post, he mentioned that his “stay-at-home” haircut had gotten out of hand.
Another soccer star who is known for his many hairstyles is Christiano Ronaldo. He posted his newly shaved head on his Instagram by captioning the photo, “Stay home and keep stylish.”
