Bill Belichick has perfected a public-facing uniform of sweatsuits and cut-off hoodies during his coaching years of experience. Things have grown more elaborate in recent months as he’s back in the office. Belichick is already famous for coaching while dressed like he’s working from home, and this is why he shocked everyone with a video shot at his home, wearing polo and denim jeans.

During a recent press conference though, Bill Belichick elevated his work-from-home style to an art form. The famously taciturn Belichick made quite the appearance when he slumped to the podium.
One can think that he has just endured a Bear Grylls survivalist challenge as the coach was wearing what appeared to have once been a New England Patriots sweatshirt complete with tattered holes gaping around his shoulders, his neckline dropping past his clavicle, and his sleeves severed.
It’s probably a lucky sweater worn well past its best-by date. Also, Mike Dussault of Patriots.com told ESPN that he first spotted this one in 2013. Mike is the person who catalogs each of Bill Belichick’s hoodies. This is the adherence to the trend of distressed clothing of years gone by. And yes, the sound you hear is a choir of dads everywhere, who couldn’t resist their most natural instinct, yell-asking if Belichick got his shirt half off because that’s how much fabric is missing.

Bill is not only a great coach but also a strong proponent of social distancing, and he’s constantly trying to send a message of unity to New England Patriots fans and NFL followers everywhere. He’s all about staying at home, sitting on that couch (wearing whatever feels comfortable), binging on that Netflix series, and checking on the Patriots now and then.
